Substitutions
• 120 grams short-grain rice
• 500 milliliters milk (or plant milk)
• 1 table spoon sugar or honey
• 1 apple, peeled and diced
• 1 tea spoon cinnamon
• A pinch of salt
• Milk: plant milk or half milk, half water.
• Apple: pear.
Allergens
Dairy (milk), if used
1. Rinse rice in cold water.
2. Bring milk with a pinch of salt to a simmer. Add rice and cook on low, stirring often, until creamy (18–20 minutes).
3. Stir in sugar or honey.
4. In a pan, cook apple with cinnamon for 2–3 minutes.
5. Top pudding with warm apple.
