Ingredients
Substitutions
For the dough:
• 300 grams flour
• 150 milliliters warm water
• 1 egg
• 1 table spoon oil
• Pinch of salt
For the filling:
• 200 grams minced pork or beef
• 1 onion, finely chopped
• 1 table spoon oil
• Salt and black pepper
• Dough: use hot-water dough without egg.
• Filling: chicken or turkey mince.
• Add mashed potato for lighter version.

1. Fry onion in oil until soft, add minced meat, cook through, season with salt and black pepper. Let cool.
2. Mix flour, water, egg, oil, and salt into a smooth dough. Rest 20 minutes.
3. Roll dough thin, cut circles with a glass.
4. Place 1 tea spoon filling in each circle, fold and pinch edges.
5. Boil water with salt. Cook pierogi in batches for 3–4 minutes until they float.

Serve with fried onion and sour cream.
