Substitutions
• 200 grams pickled herring fillets, cut into bite pieces
• 300 grams small potatoes, boiled and cooled, cut in halves
• 1 crisp apple, diced
• 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
• 120 grams sour cream or natural yogurt
• 1 table spoon dill, finely chopped
• 1 tea spoon lemon juice
• Salt and black pepper
• Sour cream: natural yogurt.
• Herring: smoked mackerel or canned tuna in brine (drained).

1. In a bowl, mix sour cream (or yogurt) with lemon juice, dill, salt, and black pepper.
2. Add potatoes, apple, onion, and herring. Toss gently to coat.
