Ingredients

Substitutions

• 2 chicken breasts (about 300 grams total)
• 400 grams potatoes, peeled and cut into equal pieces
• 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
• 120 grams sour cream
• 1 table spoon fresh dill, chopped
• 2 table spoons oil (for frying)
• Salt and black pepper

• Sour cream: natural yogurt.
• Potatoes: boiled rice.
• Dill: parsley.

Dairy (sour cream)

1. Put potatoes into a pot, cover with cold salted water, bring to a boil, and cook until soft (about 15 minutes). Drain and keep warm.
2. Mix cucumber with sour cream, dill, a little salt and black pepper. Chill for a few minutes.
3. Pat chicken dry, season well with salt and black pepper.
4. Heat oil in a pan on medium-high. Fry chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through (juices clear, center no longer pink).
5. Rest chicken for 3 minutes, then slice.

Serving tip

Serve chicken slices with potatoes and a spoon of cucumber salad on the side.
