Ingredients

Substitutions

• 1 large white cabbage
• 300 grams minced pork or beef
• 150 grams rice
• 1 onion
• 2 table spoons oil
• 500 milliliters tomato passata
• 250 milliliters stock
• Salt and black pepper

• Pork or beef: chicken or turkey.
• Tomato passata: canned tomatoes blended.

1. Cook rice until almost soft, drain.
2. Fry onion in oil until golden, mix with rice and minced meat, season.
3. Boil cabbage leaves until soft, drain.
4. Place filling on each leaf, fold and roll tightly.
5. Place rolls in pot, cover with passata and stock.
6. Simmer covered for 1.5 hours.

Serving tip

Serve with mashed potatoes or fresh bread.
