• 500 grams rhubarb stalks, cut into pieces
• 1 liter water
• 4 table spoons sugar (or to taste)
• Optional: 1 tea spoon vanilla sugar
• Sweetener: honey or syrup.
• Add strawberries for a fruitier taste.
