Substitutions

• 100 grams dried apples
• 100 grams dried pears
• 50 grams dried plums
• 2 liters water
• 2 table spoons sugar or honey
• 1 cinnamon stick
• 2 cloves

• Fruit: any dried fruit mix.
• Spices: omit cloves for milder taste.

1. Rinse dried fruit. Place in a pot with water, sugar, cinnamon, and cloves.
2. Bring to a boil, then simmer gently for 30–40 minutes.
3. Cool completely before serving.
